More information on the HPC is available via Workspace (Password required)

The High Performance Computer Suite (HPC) is a cluster of computers programmed together to reduce the time required for large and complex calculations or hundreds of smaller calculations simultaneously. Capable of running at over 46 teraFLOPS the suite can do 46 trillion calculations per second.

The HPC has 1,600 processes, 110 terabytes of disc space and is equivalent to 2500 home PC’s.

The HPC is available to all academic staff and research students at the University of Nottingham, encouraging cross-school and faculty collaboration.
